GLEITMO 961 SPRAY
Graphite based solid film lubricant
Description
gleitmo 961 is a solvent-based air-drying solid film lubricant with an inorganic binder. The active lubricating component is a special graphite. Binder and solid lubricant produce a synergetic effect which improve adhesion and thus the lubricating performance significantly. gleitmo 961 does not protect against corrosion.
Fields of application
gleitmo 961 is used for the lubrication of connection elements such as screws, nuts, clamps, etc. In general, it is worth trying gleitmo 961 if oils and greases are not possible for lubrication owing to excessively high temperatures or if dry lubrication is wished for other reasons.
Method of application
gleitmo 961 can be applied easily via spray cans. Avoid burrs and sharp edges on paired sliding surfaces. Normally, coating on one sliding surface is sufficient. Sliding surfaces should be carefully degreased with solvent and allowed to dry.
