Perfluorinated high-temperature grease
Description
CARBAFLO 2371 is a high temperature-resistant grease for the lubrication of high-temperature bearings. It is resistant to most lyes and acids, and it exhibits excellent EP properties. The low evaporation rate of the base oil guarantees extended re-lubrication intervals at elevated temperatures and an extremely good corrosion protection. CARBAFLO 2371 additionally contains white solid lubricants, EP, anti-wear, and corrosion protection additives.
Fields of application
CARBAFLO 2371 shows a considerably better oxidation resistance than mineral or other synthetic oils. It is non toxic in the applicable temperature range. CARBAFLO 2371 has excellent EP properties across the whole temperature range. The product is chemically almost inert. CARBAFLO 2371 offers outstanding dielectric properties and is suitable for the lubrication of electrical components.
Method of application
The surface should be completely clean, i.e. free of dust, dirt, fingerprints, mineral oils or other synthetic oils. A pretreatment using CARBAFLO 790 (product code 7340) is very beneficial.
