LUBRODAL F 40 S

LUBRODAL F 40 S is a sprayable die lubricant for warm forging operations of non-ferrous metals. It is water miscible and contains additives, providing excellent releasing and lubricating properties even at a high ratio of dilution.

LUBRODAL F 40 S is used for die forging of non-ferrous metals (brass, aluminium and their alloys).

LUBRODAL F 40 S is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before application. It can be applied via suitable spraying systems.
A fine dispersion of the spray jet is required.
The optimal ratio of dilution depends on the specific transformation process, the kind of metal used, the temperature of the tool, the form and the weight of the workpiece and therefore has to be determined in practice.
We recommend a dilution of 1 part LUBRODAL F 40 S and 5 parts of water; this ratio can afterwards be optimized to 1 : 10 and more.

It is recommended to clean the spray system once a week as well as prior to longer periods of cessation.
