MOLY-PAUL 750
Lubricant for casting molds
Description
MOLY-PAUL 750 is a sprayable, aqueous, ready-for-use suspension which is used as high-temperature dry-film casting release agent and as sealing and lubricating agent. MOLY-PAUL 750 includes a combination of solid lubricants and an especially formulated additve package preventing the graphite oxidation at high temperatures. MOLY-PAUL 750 is free of mineral oil, does not develop any fumes and is uncritical to use.
Fields of application
MOLY-PAUL 750 is primarily used as release agent and directly applied to the inner surfaces of the casting mold by spraying devices. After its application to the casting molds, MOLY-PAUL 750 forms a coherent dry film on the surface which reduces friction. MOLY-PAUL 750 is used as starting aid for the starter bar.
Method of application
MOLY-PAUL 750 may be used on all metal surfaces. Dust and dirt should be removed prior to its application. MOLY-PAUL 750 was designed for spray application but may also be applied by brush or roller. Coating thickness should range between 100 and 200 microns. MOLY-PAUL 750 does not develop any fumes under the influence of temperature and is uncritical to use.
