Description
MOLY-PAUL 942 FAV is a refractory solid lubricant developed for the surface coating of ceramic materials. MOLY-PAUL 942 FAV is a high-viscosity, thixotropic paste based on a combination of solids and an additive package subject to the application. MOLY-PAUL 942 FAV only shows a minor shrinking effect in the drying process. MOLY-PAUL 942 FAV does not develop fumes under the influence of temperature and is uncritical to use.
Fields of application
MOLY-PAUL 942 FAV reduces the surface porosity of ceramic surfaces. MOLY-PAUL 942 FAV effectiveyl fills surface imperfections. Based on its reduced shrinking effect it is especially suitable for recycled slide plates and as primer coat prior to a subsequent solid lubricant coating.
Method of application
MOLY-PAUL 942 FAV shall be applied on dirt and dust-free surfaces by scraper or spatula.
